Frost & Keeble win Angler and Co-Angler Divisions on Kissimmee Chain

Congratulations to David Frost of Citrus County Bassmasters (Boater) and Matt Keeble of Lakeland Bassmasters (Co-Angler) for winning their respective divisions in the 2nd Central Region Pro-Am Qualifier for the 2020 tournament season.

David won the Boater’s Division by 0.14 ounces over John Durocher of Lake County Bassmasters. David had 5-fish that went 16.66 lbs and included a 7.48 lb fish. John also had 5-fish that went 16.52 ounces, with his biggest fish weighing 4.54 lbs. The third place spot in the Boaters Division went to John Carpenter also of Citrus County Bassmasters with 5-fish that went 15.20 lbs. John had the Big Bass in the Boaters Division that weighed 8.05 lbs. With this win David Frost jumps into the Central Region AOY lead with 416 points.

In the Co-Anglers Division, Matt Keeble had 5-fish that went 11.75 lbs. Matt’s bag also include the Big Bass of the Co-Anglers Division that weighed 5.04 lbs. In second place was Brandon Prophitt of Winter Springs Bassmasters with 5-fish that went 10.03 lbs. Brandon also finished second in the first qualifier giving him the points lead in the Central Region Co-AOY Division.

Congratulations to everyone that caught fish and thanks to all the anglers that came out and fished the tournament. The next Central Region Pro-Am Qualifier is scheduled for Saturday, 04/18/20 on the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. We have been asked by the City of Winter Haven to postpone this tournament, as well as the Team Tournament scheduled for 04/19/20 on the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes due to the recent Covid-19 concerns. We will make a decision on this tournament in the next couple of weeks and let everyone know how we will handle.
