Florida BASS Nation South Region Pro Am # 2

As we watched the weather for the last week wondering if we would be able to hold this tournament, we saw a steady decline in the wind predicted as well as a rise in the temperatures. We kept a close watch on the weather making sure there were not any “Lake Wind Advisories” to cancel our tournament for unsafe conditions. The day turned out to be pleasant with a slight drizzle in the morning and light winds with a little sunshine thrown in towards the end of the day. The fishing was pretty good, for the most part, there were some good bags brought to the scales with 79 fish totaling 187.13 pounds, an average of 2.37 pounds each. There were NO dead fish weighed in at this tournament. Congratulations to the top finishers and to everyone that competed. The total payout was great for a weekend tournament as listed below. The next Florida BASS Nation South Region event will be on January 25. 2025 on Lake Okeechobee out of Scott Driver Park, Team Qualifier # 2.
