FBFN Board Meeting
The Florida
BASS Federation Nation will hold its first Board of Directors Meeting
of the new year February 28, 2010 at the Howard Johnsons in Ocala. In
conjunction with the board meeting, we will be hosting our
2nd Annual President/Officers
Orientation Meeting/Seminar. This years primary focus will
be based on "Presidents Helping Presidents". All members
or potential members of the FBFN are invited to attend both
meetings. If you are planning to attend either of these
meeeting, please let us know by contacting David Driggers at

America Bass Tour
24th Annual U.S. Open Tournament - April 16 - 18, 2010
Harris Chain of Lake out of Hickory Point
As we all wrap up our current tournament season and prepare to
embark on next years events, the FBFN Board of Directors would
would like to ask all of our clubs and their members to consider
the dates and event above when preparing tournament schedules for
next year. All clubs are being asked to avoid scheduling tournaments
out of Hickory Point Park in Tavares and on the Harris Chain of
Lakes during this time. We would like to extend an invitation to
all of our clubs to come and participate in this event in an effort
to support these anglers in their tournament. This invitation goes
out to boaters and non-boaters in our organization. A pairings
meetings will be held Friday April 16th, where the PVA Anglers
will be paired with a volunteer angler. On Saturday, April 17,
only the PVA Angler will be entitled to fish but depending on where
your PVA Angler finishs you could be entitled to a cash payout
or prizes for your assistance. On Sunday, April 18, both the volunteer
angler and the PVA Angler will compete in a separate tournament
as a team for cash payouts and prizes. Your observance of these
dates and the lake would be appreciated. Your help in this event
would be greatly appreciated. For more information regarding this
